Not again

Whats happening to our way of thinking? Hasn't it evolved yet after going through so many mistakes. Apparently it was announced to our nation that KKMs Telemedicine was a flop and was officially acknowledged by our Health Minister. It was a project put on such high expectations and ambition which KKM was proud to lead. If I'm not mistaken, several small IT companies took part in this endeavour in planning to connect several major Hospitals in Malaysia (such as H. Ipoh, H. Klang, HKL, H. Seremban ..etc) in a circle of interconnecting cyber webs in which tele conferencing or tele consultation can be done. It was definitely ambitious by KKM but was it really needed at the time? A majority of government doctors and nurses may have no use for such services yet but surely are begging for other upgrades such as improving working hours, increasing ICU beds or adding more ambulances for hospitals. Its funny though that patients put on canvas beds in wards due to overflowing patients was not one of KKMs priority in upgrading. Instead, KKM has re embarked again on this journey and has revived the sunken project. It seems that this project has been re started by the ministry and has the confidence that it surely be a success. I hope that those involved has realized their mistakes and flaws with their previous attempt and would start the new Telemedicine project with new minds. I really hope that the ministry's Telemedicine succeed this time.
